Payment Options

The Town of Washington offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

ALL PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER 3:00 PM WILL BE POSTED ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY

BILLS ARE DUE ON THE 17TH OF EACH MONTH. IF THE BILL IS NOT PAID THE $10.00 LATE FEE IS APPLIED ON ALL PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER 3:00PM ON THE 17TH.

IF BILLS NOT PAID BY 22ND OF EACH MONTH BY 3:00 PM THE $50.00 DELINQUENT FEE IS APPLIED AND THE CUSTOMER WILL BE DISCONNECTED.

CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED!!!!!

Payment by Automatic Draft

Utility customers with a bank account can have monthly bills automatically paid from that account. The payment will be withdrawn electronically between the 5th and 10th of each month. All customers will still receive a bill in the mail. Click the following link for the Automatic Draft Form.

Payment at Town Hall 405 N. Washington St.

The Town accepts credit/debit cards, checks, money orders and cashier's check. Please use our drop box located near the front door of town hall to make a payment at any time. All payments received after 3:00 p.m. will be processed the next business day.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least 5 to 7 business days before the due date specified on your bill.

Payment Through Your Bank

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to 7 business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
