Payment Options

The Town of Washington offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

ALL PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER 3:00 PM WILL BE POSTED ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY

Bills are DUE ON THE 17TH of each month. Bills not paid in full will be assessed the $10.00 LATE FEE on all payments received after 3:00PM ON THE 17TH.

Bills not paid in full by the 22nd of each month on the designated disconnect day will be assessed the $75.00 DISCONNECT SERVING FEE and the customer will be DISCONNECTED.

CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED!!!!!

Payment by Automatic Draft

Utility customers with a bank account can have monthly bills automatically paid by automatically drafting their bank account. The payment will be withdrawn electronically around the 5th of each month. All customers shall receive a bill in the mail. No processing fee. Request an ACH form to enroll or Click the following link for the Automatic Draft Form. Submit the completed form to the Town Hall.

Online Payments

Utility customers can pay their bill using their account number online with a credit/debit card. 3.5 % fee charged by processer

Payment at Town Hall 405 N. Washington St.

The Town accepts credit/debit cards, checks, money orders and cashier's check. Please use our drop box located near the front door of town hall to make a payment at any time. All payments received after 3:00 p.m. will be processed the next business day.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least 5 to 7 business days before the due date specified on your bill. Mail payment to address Town of Washington, P.O. Box 218, Washington, LA 70589.

Payment Drop-off Location

Please use our drop box located near the front door of town hall to make a payment any time. In Office Payments are received 9 am- 12 pm and 1pm- 3pm Monday through Friday. Payments can be made by check, money order, or credit/debit card.
