Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

The St. Landry Parish Community Action Agency will be accepting applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for Washington @ The Community Center on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 9 am to 11 am.
Only the first 20 applications will be accepted. Items needed to process each appplication are: Valid License or ID card - address on utility bill must match, Original Social Security Cards for ALL household members, Proof of Income for ALL household members (Including any benefits or retirements, etc), If you are currently working - last 4 consecutive check stubs, If you are not working you will be required to sign a zero income statement form and check off the appropriate reasons you are not working, Most recent light bill with a past due balance. All items must be present to receive service; no exceptions or the application will not be processed.
After signing the release form, all applications will taken for processing. Please allow 7-10 business days. Notices will be mailed out.
